Rebozo is created in the search for excellence required by the Mexican tourist industry.

By tradition a very hospitable country and with the talent to be perfect hosts, it is important to reach the standards that will place us at the level of the best international destinations.

Our proposals to reach our planned objectives are:

  •  We have created a solid base of guides, formed in Mexico, capable of transmiting the Mexican feelings, to offer professionalism along the trips, either classic ones or new formulas for alternate tourism and the newest products in new ways of travel.

  •  We offer other possibilities in the design of routes, including the calendar of Mexican popular fiestas, a trip through its handicrafts, its
    •   flavors and aromas, its music, its dances, from the indigenous to the "Danzon" and to get to know its people thoroughly.

  •  We advise local operators and companies in training its personnel in dealing with the customer and to move them to have service oriented attitude.

  •  We promote our natural landscapes to invite the international film industry, supporting them in their logistics and locations.

  •  We organize incentive trips, congresses and lectures.

  •  We take actions to protect our environment, especially water preservation actions. In this millenium we focus our projects in specified iniciatives, demonstrating the interaction between tourism and preservation.

  •  We have made that visitors come back to make new trips year after year. We give trainning and workshops for rural tourism. We offer a multilanguage service. We emphasize on using local services and products. We observe local flora and fauna. We opt for avant-garde tourism (in exchange of mass tourism).     Marlene Ehrenberg, Mexican, pioneer in developing responsible tourism, has more than 30 years organizing different trips, was a co-founder of AMTAVE, Mexican Asociation of ecotourism and adventure tourism, and was president of this organization from 1998-2000. Was awarded with the Premio Colibrí 2002 and by Agua Vida Diaria on 2003. Her tours have been recommended in the book Abenteuer und Reisen, MEXIKO writen by well-known german reporter, Ortrun Egelkraut, whom has received the Pluma de Plata award twice from different Mexican Presidents in Acapulco.

    The REBOZO is a mestizo garment, typically Mexican, which blends Prehispanic, Oriental and European traditions. It is essential in the traditional dress of Mexican women, and is used, either as a luxury garment or for the daily tasks of peasant women, and even as a cradle for their children.
