Following the steps of these brave men, in company of the controversial Malinche, Doña Marina, we offer you a wide spectre of activities, from the softest to the strongest emotions.

Places: Port of Veracruz, Zempoala, Antigua, Xalapa, Coatepec, Xico, Jalcomulco, Tlaxcala, Cacaxtla, Puebla, Cholula, Ciudad de México, Cuernavaca, Vista Hermosa, Tehuacan y Oaxaca

Length: 13 days, 12 nights

We start at port of Veracruz, combining history and culture: San Juan de Ulua Fortress and the esplendid aquarium. Nature and adventure: kayak ride at the sea o scuba diving on request.

Optional on request mountain climbing: Pico de Orizaba (17, 000 ft.).

 

Flora observation (orchids, coffee zone, tobacco, sugar cane,peanuts, citrics, mangoes, cattle) and birds. Archeological museum of Xalapa, Hacienda El Lencero, Botanical Garden, River descent (diverse categories) and camping.

Optional mountain bike ride at Cholula. Entertainment: "Danzón" and "Bamba" nights.

Fiestas: Carnaval. Ethnic groups, an encounter with tradition, , Huapango, Temazcal (thermal bath with aromatic herbs) Culinary.

Archeological zones: Zempoala, Cacaxtla, Cholula, Templo Mayor, Monte Alban, Mitla, if you already know these zones, they can be substituted by other you don't know. After the tour there can be an extension ride to some Pacific beach, in august there can be seen the arrival of hundreds of turtles.

Includes: Lodging, in different categories, camping night, tips to bellboys and propinas a bellboys and chambermaids.

Food: every breakfast and a meal at camping site.

Itinerary:

Day 1. Early departure from Mexico City to the Port of Veracruz, promenade through the city, visit the "Fort of San Juan de Ulua" and the acuarium, depending on the day we can participate of the traditional Danzon at the main plaza. Overnight in Veracruz.

Day 2. We will be able to make a tour on kayac to the island " De Sacrificios". Optional:If we have time, we will go to a sea food restaurant.Overnight in Veracruz.

Day 3. Visit the archaeological site of "Cempoala", visit the house of Cortez in Antigua. Overnight in Jalapa.

Day 4. Visit the Museum of Anthropology, the Hacienda (rural palace) "El Lencero" and the Botanical Garden. Over night in Jalapa.

Day 5. River rafting on the Antigua river, with lunch and visit the Xico water fall. Diner on your own in Coatepec. Overnight in the camp site.

Day 6. We leave for Tlaxcala, visit the city and the archaeological site of Cacaxtla. Overnight in Tlaxcala.

Day 7. On our way to Puebla we will visit the biggest piramidal basement of Cholula and then visit the Rome of Latinamerica. Overnight in Puebla.

Day 8. Surrounding the colosal volcanos we will arrive in the great Tenochtitlan, now a day Mexico City, were we will visit the "Templo Mayor" and the Zocalo with the barroque buildings of the National Palace, the Cathedral and the church were Cortez is burried. If we have enogh time, we will go to Xochimilco (by night). Overnight in Mexico city.

Day 9. We depart for Cuernavaca were Cortez built his palace (today a museum) and we continue our tour to The "Hacienda Vista Hermosa."

Day 10.On our way to Oaxaca we will stop near Tehuacan to visit the Garden of the cacti. Overnight in Oaxaca.

Day 11. Visit the archaeological site of "Monte Alban", city tour and visit of the museum in the Dominican Monastery. In a special room we will see the jewelry of tomb 7. Overnight in Oaxaca, optional the traditional dances of The Guelaguetza.

Day 12. Visit the "Mezcal area" on our way to Mitla. We will visit the biggest tree of Mexico in Santa Maria del Tule, after visiting the archaeological site we can go to Teotitlan del Valle, famous for it`s tapestry. And visit a beautifull market. Overnight in Oaxaca.

Day 13. Travel back to Mexico City or if you wish, we can make arrangements for your visit to the beach.
